Grandma


This might take a little more explaining: From listening to the Dr Demento show on radio (broadcast from California) I'm familiar with the song "Grandma got run over by a reindeer". This song was - for whatever reason - running through my head right now. There exists a different version of the song as well "Grandma got run over by a race car". That version contains a really bad joke about her getting "tired" (referring to the tire-marks on her back). So when I saw "Tired"...
I assure you, no real grandmas get hurt in these songs.

Lol for how you got grandma to associate with tired. Never heard that version, but sounds funny.

I love that song, AoB. So far, I only knew the Neil Young version. When I spent 3 months in AZ in 1992 on an archaeological dig, we had only a few tapes to play in the cars when we went somewhere. One of the tapes was Rust Never Sleeps. I think the desert and mountains of AZ are the perfect backdrop to that album.
