Due to popular request we are going to try the word challenge again here. This time it will be a monthly challenge, which is nothing to do with the story challenge. It will be based on a one word prompt which will set the creative juices flowing and the bunnies hopping. It will be just one paragraph long and can be about anything you want.
I now need a, inspiring word. Who wants to pick one? You can look at the word of the day thread if it helps.

Since "lambent" started the ball rolling, how about that being the first one?

I'm helping MAP out on this. We're going to try this again. The idea is not a whole story but a short paragraph or two and using the word therein somewhere. It doesn't need to be prose, it could be verse for you poetic types. I think these short forms allow the option of trying new writing styles or writing at all without committing to a full story. Hopefully, this is also somewhat vocabulary building.
So: if you contribute try to keep it to 50 to 100 words; I'm not imposing an upper limit but may if we see much above 300 words.
