Sorry for the delays. I've had a crazed year, and had just not had the heart or energy to do much writing. To answer your question - no, the stories are unrelated.

I won't be posting a challenge entry this month because I focused on getting the 15th chapter of "In Winter" done. It's posted on the fan fiction site. This is the looonnngggest chapter yet -- just over 11,000 words. No, the keys on my keyboard did not get stuck.

This is a shorter chapter. At first, I thought it would go long, too, but it seemed to write itself to a nice conclusion. I hope you enjoy it.

Nothing's scarier than realizing that I have to hit "add another chapter" at the fanfiction website and update "In Winter," even though I'm more comfortable sitting on Chapter 18 for another week or so. Sometimes you just gotta hit send.

Chapter 18 is up, and almost 10,000 words long. I didn't want to post anything until I was finished with Christmas Day. Instead, Christmas Day just about finished me. I only pray I didn't miss any glaring typos.
