It's that time of the month again, when we vote on our favourite stories to find out which of the low hanging fruit is the most willingly snatched up by our readers, and don't we have an absolutely bumber crop for you this month?  We have thirteen tales for you, and twelve for voting as Silverkelpie's is just for fun.  So which one of our writers do you think deserves a visit from our boys bearing gifts?

All of the stories were so good. All of you deserve a trophy, honestly. Congratulations to all of you for being able to share your words and corral some pretty terrific plot bunnies.
I"m still trying to get the hang of writing a good story within a time deadline:oops:.

To the Gang,
Thanks for all your kind words. It's a great surprise to be picked among such a group of fine entries, especially with a writer like InsideOutlaw nipping at my heels. I appreciate all your comments, and am excited to see the number of folks reading our challenge entries grow each month. I'm looking forward to reading what everyone comes up with for November!

Congratulations, Javabee!  Great story and win in a very competitive month!

The same to InsideOutlaw.  Wonderful and very original story!

And thanks as well to all the writers who contributed and kept us entertained.  It was very difficult to choose just one story, as the voting shows.

Congrats1  Congrats 2  Congrats 3
