C is for Careful - something the boys had to be in their old profession and in their bid for amnesty. Sometimes it even was for the same reasons.

F is for Finery - For our boys, unfortunately, it usually consisted of two certain suits...
As for their everyday garb, I guess only the hat bands and maybe Heyes watch might qualify.

G is for Golly, a surprised reaction the boys would often cause in people who discovered who they were.

I is for Idyllic settings, which we sometimes get in ASJ, e.g. the picknick and singing lesson in Posse

O is for offense, something nobody wanted Kid Curry to take at them - if they knew who he was.

U is for umbrage, as the boys frequently take at sheriffs and other distasteful types.

X is for Xenophon, the Greek who wrote the first treatise on horsemanship. Who knows, maybe maybe the boys used some of his training methods. These included taking a young horse into the market place so it learns to be used to many sounds and is not frightened by them. That's a common approach even now. OK, so I'm reaching.

Well done, HW! It's so difficult to find something new for X

Y is for Yomp, which means to carry heavy equipment over difficult terrain - something our boys usually tried to avoid.
