Keays, thank you so much for posting the call sheets. I have never seen anything like this before and it gives a little glimpse into the filming operation, about how things are organised, or what it means when someone is late.
I still hope to get a look at a script at some point, but this has truly been a bonus.

And your Karma looks like a dog who knows how to enjoy her down time. I think I heard it say before that dogs with brown noses are the most faithful and loyal companions.

Well she is that Steph!  One of the sweetest dogs I've ever owned, and the most intelligent.  She's had her issues though as she was a rescue and had real fear of people when I first got her.  she's a big mooch now though!  She's figured out that many people carry treats.

Glad you enjoyed the call sheets.  All this is quite familiar to me as I have worked on set before but of course when I first got them it was a real treat.  I'd like to have a copy of a script too though.

Thanks for sharing these, Keays. They're great and a wonderful insight as stated above. Then you topped it off with a picture of a happy relaxed Karma building a cushion fort! Great picture  puppy kiss

LOL!  It's even funnier when she digs right in and all you can see are her nostrils.   Being the same colour and pattern as the sofa she really blended in and I could be looking right at her and not see her.

Yes, thanks for sharing, Keays. I have never seen a script or call sheets before and it was very interesting. And what a lovely dog you have!

Since I went and accidentally deleted all my postings here, I will try to get some of them back up.  Perhaps some of our new members will enjoy them.

Collection of artwork

These are drawings I did between '71 and '76

Using a template to get the measurements right.

Out of focus, I know.  Sorry.  But once you have all the metal piping scresed together, you make a hole in the styrofoam and slide it on the tubing, then screw the the whole thing into the wooden board.

Use the template again to mimic the top line of the horse, using heavy aluminum wire that you've threaded through the t-joint.  Secure it with clay.  Use medium wire to attach for the forelegs, secure with lighter picture hanging wire.

Cut out more styrofoam to fill in the torso.

Wow. It's fascinating. I never thought that there might be a metal structure and other material underneath the clay. I'm really interested to see how this will develop.

OH yes Steph!  You have to have an armature support underneath because the clay itself could never support the weight of a horse.  The whole thing would collapse on you.  This has always been the tricky part for me as I didn't know how to put together an armature.  Now I find that it's relatively easy.

Spent most of the second day covering the styrofoam base with clay.  This took all morning and is not as easy as it sounds.  You have to get it smooth, level and squared off.  It takes some doing.  This is as far as I got.

Day three.  Starting to get a little more meat on the bones.  You start layering on the clay as you would the muscle and that gives you your base.

Front view, in case you couldn't tell.  Got all the legs on now, but it looks awkward to me.  Legs are too thick and not balanced.
