I know that some of you are into rhyming, so this should give you a new challenge:

Have any of the stories or words of the day inspired you and moved you to write a little ditty.  Limericks have a rhyming pattern of AABBA 1st, 2nd, and 5th line is longer.  They are often humorous.  You may find this link hand to play:

In the spirit of sharing I shall start you off:

There was a young outlaw called Curry,
Who woke up one day feeling blurry,
In his pockets was zilch
'Cos the saloon girl did filch
And he went after her in a hurry.

Hannibal Heyes was playing a 'buy',
Watching his winnings pile high,
He sat awhile grinning,
And thought "ha, I am winning,"
Just how brilliant at poker am I?

There was a young man called Heyes,
Who wanted a to learn a new phrase.
He thought he'd take a look,
at the biggest of books,
now his syllables really amaze

There once was an outlaw called Curry,
Who made other gunslingers scurry.
They could see by his eyes,
Even though in disguise,
That to cross him, they really should worry!

In a restaurant across the saloon,
sat Kid Curry feeling over the moon.
Not concerned for his weight,
diving into his plate,
'till his belly would sport a balloon!

Her hair it was bright-red and glossy,
Her wit it was vibrant and saucy.
While the outlaw, he lusted,
She was not to be trusted,
For reward he was chased by a posse

A man named Heyes played at poker
'Cause outside was really a soaker
Curry stood at the bar
Kept look-out for a star,
As his partner frowned at a joker.

Inspired by the Niekx one mentioning a restaurant:

There sat the pair Heyes and Curry,
Facing hash that looked more like slurry;
In the north they have turkey,
Not just endless beef jerky,
But me? I prefer Ruby Murray.

There once was an outlaw named Kyle.
who liked chewing 'baccy and smile.
Favorite toy: dynamite.
Yeah, he wasn't too bright,
But he sure was without any guile.

An outlaw with eyes ablaze,
tried competing with Hannibal Heyes.
His name, it was Wheat,
he wasn't too sweet,
and always put back in his place.

The outlaw called Hannibal Heyes,
had fled from a posse for days.
The Kid said to him,
While looking quite grim:
Make a livin'? Gotta find better ways!

An amnesty - that was the goal,
For getting out of Devil's Hole.
For Kid and for Heyes,
Amending their ways
Proved hard and was taking a toll.

I am beginning to think I have too much time and could it be that there is such a thing as reading too much fanfiction?

Thank you! Not sure where this is coming from. I think I have now more than doubled the number of limericks I have ever managed to come up with in my entire life. Are there such things as limerick bunnies? How do you get them to shut up for a little while - or teach them to only come every few months?

Meanwhile:

Heyes, the Kid and the Jordans, it's writ,
Will soon meet, have some fun, and then split.
But for the time being,
The boys keep on fleeing
From a posse that just wouldn't quit.

Lol
That explains it!

On the day they hanged Kid Curry,
His cousin really did worry
He would be too late.
To turn around fate
To Red Rock court Heyes did hurry.

The leprechaun urges: How about a new competition to turn all episode titles into limericks...

Something just came to me:

Hannibal Heyes and Kid Curry
From sheriffs and posses did scurry.
Their bounties were high,
That's one reason why
These two and their friends did worry.
